THE EMILY KELLY HUT
Cwm Dyli hut

The Emily Kelly Hut, also known as Cwm Dyli, is in Nant Gwynant below Snowdon (GR SH 653541). When the club acquired it in 1932 it was just a shell. We are proud of how the club has transformed the hut over the years into a comfortable little cottage with electricity for cooking and lighting, a well equipped kitchen, a hot shower, drying room and comfortable alpine bunks for 20 people. A barbecue is available for outdoor cooking and a wood/coal stove plus storage heaters for winter warmth. You could bring your own carbon free alternative to coal; you must bring kindling. There is parking for about 10 cars a 150 metre walk from the hut.

The hut is several miles from a phone signal or WiFi connection.

If you are going to stay at the hut, please review the guidance on using the hut and the Hut Safety Policy.

More information about staying at, and caring for, the hut is available for members.
